Coordinate somehow with Climate Forecast Aggregation conventions

The folks at CEDA have come out with a new standard that aims to solve the same problem as kerchunk for the many-netcdf use case:

The approach is different and more limited in scope. In particular, I'm not sure if that spec makes it possible to map individual compressed chunk locations.

Is there any interest in discussing with them and trying achieve some degree of interoperability?
