Kobo won't remember the WiFi password

When using kobocloud for synchronization, in some cases (I usually use pcloud for syncing books), Kobo won't remember the WiFi password, requiring manual entry of the password each time to connect. After uninstalling, it returns to normal.

I'm experiencing the same on a brand new Kobo Elipsa 2E.

I could not replicate this... Which means it is difficult for me to troubleshoot this issue

It does indeed happen quite randomly. I don't have any clear reproduction steps yet. The only thing I've noticed is with failed syncs (I've tested the KoboCloud-rclone fork), multiple syncs in connection with mounting the unit via USB in between the syncs seems to trigger this behaviour more often. In most cases it seems the "forgetting password" happens if the unit crashes during the unmount of the device after a failed sync. But it's not clear how to consistently trigger this behaviour yet.
