The 'viewdistance' command not reporting current view distance anymore?

Pre 1.21 "beta" build I could swear you could do /viewdistancetweaks viewdistance to get the view distance in the current dimension, but now it just complains for needing more arguments (which is fair, i know you need to provide it to override it).

Would be nice to bring the old(?) functionality back as it was a quick way to check instead of doing /viewdistancetweaks stats.

That is again, unless this was always the case and I just imagined things.
