Customize for business or portfolio website
Nice work on this theme! I like the use of scss and CSS grid. How would one customize this theme as a base for a small business or portfolio website instead of a blog? Would that be too much work? Any pointers to get started? Thank you.
This is a base theme so not ment to be used as is. I use it, as a base, for every Hugo site I build. Happy to see that others find it useful but I maintain it for my own use.
I add whatever layouts and styling etc. the site in question needs. The Zen theme provided base things I have use for it in many/most sites I build. Saves me a lot of time.
Having the same base for all sites I build makes them a lot easier to maintain.
I guess the default list and home layouts that renders post as "summary" can be seen as a "blog" layouts. But that is more a coincidence.
