INS POS!=END

Hi Fritz, I'm analyzing a set of SURVIVOR merged SVs called using MANTA. There are many INS with POS!=END, which baffles me as I recall INS should just be the base at which the insertion happened. Do insertions like this have inexact POS among individuals so the max and min coordinates are used as POS and END? Or is this the sequence being inserted? Thanks.
