double row headers break parts editor

Open vanepp opened this issue 1 year ago • 0 comments

Current Behaviour

Attempting to edit a dual row header with parts editor causes an error.

bug1

fortunately it isn't deadly as clicking OK to the error message correctly loads the part in parts editor

bug2

and allows saving as a new part which creates a mostly correct part (the mostly is because there is an extra pad overlaid on connector0pin, but it is harmless.)

bug3

in the svg we see the extra pad that has been added, but as noted it is harmless as it won't affect anything (makes the file a little larger than it needs to be and adds clutter is all)

bug4

Here is the part being edited in the images.

Generic double row female header - 2 pins.fzpz.zip

Build:

Version 1.0.4 (CD-2088-0-a8c6ef7c 2024-10-07) 64 [Qt 6.5.3]

Operating System: Windows 10

Steps to reproduce:

see ## Current Behaviour

Expected Behaviour

The error message shouldn't appear (and the extra pad should probably be deleted as unneeded.) As noted this doesn't appear to cause any operational issues and is thus likely low priority.
