  • at some point imported my own bin (.fzbz) with my own parts.
  • decided to delete the bin.
    • not being asked if i would like to remove the parts contained in the user bin.
  • bin has been deleted, but the user parts in it can still by found by search.
    • with the bin non-existing the user parts can now not be removed from fritzing.
    • the "remove part" menu option is not avialable.
  • conflicts between parts when importing an updated version of the same user bin, exported from another installation of Fritzing on another computer.

additionally, doing it another way:

  • first choose "remove part" of each part in user bin.
  • with all user parts deleted, now select to delete the user bin.
    • "Do you want to save changes to user bin?" Huh? Does "changes" mean save deletion of all user parts, how does that work? Anyway, I asked to delete the bin, why would i want to save at this point. Or is this an option to export?
  • the user parts deleted from the bin can still be found with part search. the user parts cannot be deleted with "remove part" menu option.
  • closing Fritzing "Do you want to keep the imported parts? = No" Uh, I just deleted one-by-one these parts from user bin, why is it asking again?
  • opening Fritzing
    • the user parts can still be found by part search.

part maintanance this way is kind of difficult, hope it finds improvement in next releases.
