Version property missing in package.yml

@cbenz and I are currently working on a proposition to extend the Table Schema spec to add metadata properties, for a pattern similar to the other Frictionless Data specs (see #630).

During our exploration, we found that the Data Package spec contains a version property that appears to be missing in package.yml where it should be defined.

Before we do a PR, can you confirm that our understanding is correct?

Version is in common.yml. Is there a case where it is not being validated?

Hi @pwalsh thanks for your answer.

My understanding was that the documentation was directly built from the yaml dictionaries. Yet, the descriptions for the version property differ between data-package.md and common.yml. That's why I was looking for another specific description in package.yml.
