Hi, everyone! We discussed this issue on the last community call. #937 has more context. What do you think if we can ship it with v2.1 to unblock "Light Exposure Data Package" work presented by @salmathalji?

Hi @salmathalji,

I think it will take a few month to release v2.1 as it's a holidays season and many Working Group members are on vacation.

The good news, that actually you can start using it right now just adding a simple JSON validation on your side. The Data Package is an open standard so even if this change is not accepted (TBH I don't see any reason why =) ) an extension author is absolutely free to use resource.jsonSchema property on its own .
