datapackager/datapusher more strict then goodtables

Following the frictionless specifications we added a point in the names of datapackages/resources. Goodtables.io was fine with it. However we goodn't import the datapackages in CKAN because of the point. Is documentation available about what characters are allowed in CKAN? Then we can avoid trial and error.
