DSNP Schema Updates Question

The DSNP Schemas have possible updates due to changes in the specification for v1.3.0:

Parquet Schemas for Broadcast, Reply, etc... will use STRING instead of BYTE_ARRAY

• STRING type is still BYTE_ARRAY under the hood
• NOT the same as going from UTF8 type to STRING type which while different are considered just an update in Parquet

How does the Frequency community suggest this on the edge update should happen?

Options

• No schema publication update needed, the data is still the same, it is just interpretation of it
• New schema needs to be published
