@woutervdub Could you please look this over to see if things look correct? Or, if there might be a better way to do things or to do the expand?
(I refactored a lot of the code to better accommodate the expand functionality.)

I had to manually merge conflicts resulting from #7113. Because that PR changed where the eyes are positioned, I had to use a different formula for the size of the un-expanded partial circle.
