Delaware Court of Chancery type is weird ("non-trial")

The Delaware Court of Chancery's type is unusual. It is the only court with the type "non-trial". From a quick look through the court's rules, guidelines and its Wikipedia page, although it does not do jury trials, it appears accurate to categorize it as a trial court.
