Compare/contrast common tools for secure tiplines
Description
People considering SecureDrop would find it useful to see the relative merits of the tools commonly used for tip lines written out. Common tools are:
- SecureDrop
- Signal
- Postal Mail
- more?
We should compare and contrast these tip line tools in our documentation to help people decide if SecureDrop is the appropriate tool for them. For some use cases, Signal may be a better overall solution (e.g. in terms of maintenance), but we should provide guidance about this.
User Stories
As a news organization considering SecureDrop, I want to see a clear description of the pros and cons of various tiplines including SecureDrop so that I can make an informed decision.

That said, this issue is still valid; including some decision-making guidance in either the docs or the FAQ would make sense.
Couple of points: 1 - work is ongoing in the support team on an intro to SD deck that would cover a lot of this. 2 - this might make sense on securedrop.org proper rather than in the docs site.
