Dangerzone on Windows doesn't show by default as viewer for documents
In https://github.com/freedomofpress/dangerzone/pull/297 we fixed the description text of dangerzone in the "open with" dialogue. To test it, I manually added the path to the Dangerzone executable.
Cx-freeze (the lib we use for building windows executables) has an extensions option that looks like what we want.
We already do something similar on macOS.
Just to understand what's going on here: you're saying that "Open With" on Windows does not show Dangerzone in the list, or that Dangerzone is not the default option?
I think Dangerzone wasn't shown as an option to open these kinds of files. But it's been a while since I've taken a look at this.
Just wanted to say, this issue still persists. Users can select the dangerzone binary if they browse for apps, and Windows will remember this decision, but it's not intuitive.
