Hi,

ok. Since I've taken the dictionary from issue #25, it'd be great if you could have a look at this dictionary instead.

Thanks

Hello! Is there any update on this?

Hi

No sorry. We did not find anybody yet to volunteer for this task. But we are very happy about contributions!

I've made a port for dictd, however, I don't know whether the format is compatible with this project or not. Also, the original database is licensed under a CC BY-SA 4.0. Does it matter? By the way, there is an English-Chinese dictionary released under MIT license. I made a port, too.

Thanks for the link to the dict version. Unfortunately, dict is aplain text format without much structure. We use TEI (informally described here). Our repo has example dictionary data and the schemas in shared/. It's quite different to dict, but the data of this dictionary are regular and it shouldn't be too hard to write a parser. Would you be willing to have a look, @pjhades?
