Hi,

I am getting a black screen with radeonkms with an ATI RADEON X1950XT on a G5 macppc. Seems like the kernel module is loaded and initializes but screen is black and remains black. Any ideas what I can do about it?

Is there a switch to not set display mode like Linux "nomodeset" when initializing radeonkms? I was reading it is used as kernel argument for #linux and fixes start up of lots of #macppc machines. Can be wrong. No idea.

I was trying FreeBSD 13 which I downloaded a few days ago.

Also the graphics card is flashed properly with a open firmware BIOS image.
