There are no commits since 2019, open merge requests are not merged. Is this project still maintained and if not are there any active forks?

We are using https://github.com/burningalchemist/sql_exporter

This is a fork of Database agnostic SQL exporter for Prometheus, created by @free. The main goal is to bring some maintenance to the project until the original maintainer is back.

Thanks for the link! I've went over to https://github.com/justwatchcom/sql_exporter it's a bit different but was also feasible for my use case.
