Standalone Work: Linux

The standalone in linux right now is a bit rocky. The audio and midi works and the gui works if you are timer only. Here are some critical issues

1. Timer needs to be implemented smarter than "just blast every timer every loop" ✅
2. FD support with glib needs writing
3. Command line options at least to select audio and midi configuration
4. Once that's done, do we want to add a menu bar to select audio? Save and restore? Open questions.
