Hmm. I know one of the major criticisms of DuckDuckGo was how they retrieved favicons, (querying a server, potentially bad for privacy).

This may or may not be related to #4421.

Would this perhaps be an opportunity as well to simplify the logo, removing the shadows? I think it would show better on lower resolutions.
