Request: Add npcbots to release?

Open opicron opened this issue 5 years ago • 3 comments

I am looking into doing dungeons with my friends an family. However we are not enough people ;).

Is there any chance you could add an seperate build (TrinityCoreBotDocker) by adding https://github.com/trickerer/Trinity-Bots to the build? The latest version of Trinity-Bots is from 20 november.

I'd be willing, and if you would be willing ofcourse, to hire you for this additional build :). Let me know, and thank you in advance!

I had never seen this before. It looks intriguing. No promises, as I need to dig into it, but let me investigate. No hiring! I didn't write any of these code bases, I just enjoy packaging and tinkering.

OK here's an early Christmas present! I added a version with the tag "3.3.5-trinitybots" which integrates Trinity Bots, plus I implemented an all-in-one solution for the 3.3.5 versions. If you want to run the auth server, world server and database over a single instance and let it automatically run with all setup from scratch, you can do that now without needing to manage everything through docker compose and running manual setup. The documentation is linked through the readme on docker hub.

Give it a try and let me know how it works. I didn't do extensive testing, but I did run with it for a bit and had a bot buddy hacking newbie mobs with me in Elwynn Forest.
