But do I have to use them together? When I use my OpenAI API and specify the model it sends an error message of the model not being existant.
To use OpenAI o1-preview or o1-mini I suggest you to use both of them through OpenRouter, as the deployment seems more stable. Right now the models does not stream text: the whole block is brought to you at the end of the output. To use it directly through OpenAI you must have a Tier-4 or 5 API account, which means having spent at least one thousand dollars on API credits.
I can't suggest you to use o1 with Agent Zero. Please do your tests, but they will cost you bloody money. Use o1 on its own to get the best experience. This is just my personal opinion that comes from my experience with Agent Zero + o1.
