Cosider Half Day as a Present Day

In a company, the working hours on Saturdays are typically half of the regular days, which means a 9-hour shift becomes 4.5 hours. However, attendance should still be marked as present on that day. So, how can we handle this situation?

Since they are using biometric so it automatically mark half day for that day(Saturdays). we can't change Working Hours Threshold for Half Day because that is going to effect other days as well so thats not going to solve our issue.

Please give us a option to define somewhere in Shift type for half day to consider as full day like:-

Consider below half working day as present Selection:- Saturday

@reeta-greycube would suggest creating a separate shift type for Saturdays since all the other depending parameters (grace period, extended shift allowance) would be different on this particular day. So maintaining a separate shift would be cleaner.

Yes, @ruchamahabal you are right i tested and shift approach is clean and could work, But the only big challenge will be to assign so many shifts for days to each employee, and that too every year.
