Gant / Calender view inconsistencies - task (projects)

Open johnlongland opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

Information about bug

When I create a task that is set to start on 13-5-2022 and ending on 17-5-2022, I get inconsistent views when selecting the various viewing options.

I have some screenshots on the discussion thread that I created, where I asked for some assistance.

https://discuss.erpnext.com/t/gant-calender-view-inconsistencies/89733

Suggestion: As seen on the last screen-shot, there is a : 12a-12a .. which I assume means "12am to 12am". This seem to suggest that there is a time involved - perhaps a default. Perhaps this "time" is interpreted differently in various views ????? Perhaps the solution would be just to make the time-line date-input ( in task) , a date-time input ?? Just a thought.

Good day to the team Is there any chance this may be attended to some time soon ? I do realise you are all running around attending to many things but I have just hit my head again against this inconsistent display of information.

Many thanks

Good day to the team I have just entered a rather complex project structure where there is 4 levels of child-tasks. To manage the view of these tasks, I have enabled " In standard Filter" on the "Parent Task" field of the "Task" form. This works very well to help make the display more manageble. This works well in "List view" but Calander view does not respect the filters that has been set up.

Good day to the team

If I may ask ... is it not possible for the team to look at this issue please? I use project/task a lot and it is a big issue not to be able to view data in a proper way.

Thank you very much
