IronCalc for spreadsheets
As far as I know Frappe Drive does not yet support spreadsheets. Would incorporating Ironcalc (MIT licensed) be off interest for this project? (Just came across Ironcalc. I am not affiliated in any sense. It looks very polished and I thought the team working on Frappe Drive might be interested in it) Cheers
EDIT: did a bit more reading and there seems to be a more complete open source office solution: https://www.onlyoffice.com/ This one is AGPL licensed though, which shouldn't be s problem for Frappe Drive.
Been keeping an eye on ironcalc for a while now, I'll look into again lots of new updates from the looks of it. I'll at least try to move the preview to ironcalc just to experiment.

Wait on this

Also, mostly on the roadmap. Different from IronCalc. Onlyoffice and Office365 (not foss but we don't have to ship any non foss things inside of Drive for this) integration has been asked a lot.
Closing as this will likely be a separate project.

Hi @safwansamsudeen ! What about spreadsheets editing? Can you give more details if it is planned to add to Drive?
Hey @clevermind-me - do you mean native spreadsheet app, or editing Excel files?
Either way, it's not on the immediate plan for Drive :(.
