LDAP Authentication

The app does not have the form button for LDAP.

Still the case... this is basically preventing users in LDAP to use ERPNext Mobile 😞

A workaround is to set password in ERPNext itself. Then you don't need to use LDAP login, just normal login (in the browser as well as in the mobile app). It's not ideal and may be some form of attack vector for poor passwords though.

I just tested it and yes, it does "work"... but it also prevents you from ever connecting again with your LDAP credentials in ERPNext, thus breaking the main reason to have LDAP auth: single credentials across company tools.

So I would advise against that.

Yeah, for sure I wouldn't advise in favour of this workaround. Actually for me authentication with LDAP works just fine even after setting the password manually.
