Payment error message when cart item on back order

Prestashop 1.6

Stripe returns an error message when the customer pays for a cart which contains an item which goes on back order.

However the Stripe payment was successful, the customer receives confirmation emails & the order appears in back office as usual (see image below).

If it's a straight-forward cart there is a "Payment successful" message.

Here's the order history screen for the above orders.

I was using a saved card number to test with so both purchases were sending the same details to stripe.

Please could you look into what is causing the erroneous error message. Thank you

No fix unfortunately. I ended up going with this module: https://www.bellini-services.com/shop/payment-modules/43-stripe-payment-module.html

Works flawlessly, and the support is awesome. I wish this free module worked properly, but I couldn't get it to do so.
