Support for components

It would be nice if showDist were to show the width and height of a selection, even if that selection was completely made up of components. This would probably require taking component transformation into account (or decomposing an invisible copy of a component) in order to get an accurate readout.

Related: Currently, if you have a contour and a component selected, the displayed width and height ignores the component. This is somewhat misleading, depending on how “real” components are in one's mind.
