Any way to get a video live wallpaper without restrictions of license?

I know this one is GNU, which means that whatever I do with it, it means my app has to be open sourced too.

Is there any other way? Alternative or similar project/library I can use?

Why the need to make it GNU ? Is it because of codecs? What if instead, I used what Android offers me for free (WEBM, mp4, ...) ?
