Games with multiple controls, i.e on foot and vehicles, are mostly unplayable

I am not sure if it is possible, but from what I've seen it isnt What I mean is let's say you are playing any GTA, you are running to a car, feels great with a keyboard and mouse, you get in, and all the controls are different, and don't even get me started trying to fly planes. I was wondering if it would be possible to add an option for button combinations that could switch control schemes on the fly, without having to take 30 seconds to go into the settings for XKM just to drive a car
