Describe the issue

Failed detecting ADB, please (re-)root your device! I have been downgraded from 1010 to 0608 and cannot root, whether it is using official tools to lower prices or downgrade software. After entering the root interface, it displays "Failed detecting ADB, please (re -) root your device!" on both of my VISTA sky terminals.

Did you click the root button and choose the appropriate serial device from that screen?

I am having the same issue. Device: Caddx vista O/S version: Windows 10 Vista firmware 0606 Browser: Google Chrome Trace ID: v2.2.1 - Trace ID: e92c19e2-aa88-4ed2-b9f3-fcd7791e1e82

Ran Butter on the vista both 0608 and 0606 versions several times, all were successful. When I tried the WTFOS configurator to root the vista, each time I got the error message "Failed detecting ADB, Please re-(root your device)

Did anyone figure out what this issue was/is???? having the same issue on two Caddx vista's on three different computers with three different browsers, seems like a bug in the wtfos configurator.

I’m having the same issue. Two Vistas, both on 0606, two different PCs, same error detecting ABD. Goggles V2 updated fine. I have “OSD WAITING” on the goggles screen.

When I connect the Vista to WTFOS, I get the popup windows show “DJI AIR unit Lite-Paired”. I click on it and connect, but get the ABD detection notice.

Anyone still here with a solution? I tried the discord, but no luck.

In my case it worked after running Butter twice, connected to DJI Companion again and reflashed 608. After that, i was able to root it. some times even if the message Failed detectin ADB appears, WTFOS is still able to root the device.

I asked for help on the Discord channel. The solution was to use de development version of the configurator where the issue was solved.

@frabul Where did you find that development version of the configurator? I use a CaddX Air Unit (lt150) and couln't find any way to root this with any of the butter or super packs (not lt150_01.00.0608 and also not lt150_01.00.0606).

After a lot of trying, I could root it only by using just the website https://fpv.wtf/root There I could also flash it directly after the root. Found on a hint on the website of OscarLiang.

I think it would make sense to add a note on the butter website to use https://fpv.wtf/root of the root isn't succesful: https://github.com/fpv-wtf/butter root success

Hi, Always the same problem impossible to root the Caddx vista. Message: ADB detection failed, please (re)root your device! I tried with the development version of the configurator, I downgraded the vista to the recommended firmware with the DJI assistant, I used the driver_installer.exe ... still no ADB detection. Can you recommend something else?

Обновил висту до последней версии 1.01.000, далее сбросил прошивку до 1.00.0606. Ошибка пропала и прошивка прошла успешно.
