In their discord Jack from D3VL team said it few times. There is also FAQ there.

I think creating an App now is too soon, but we can experiment with running the file using apps from existing players

With Apple being apple and locking down half of their os it is highly unlikely that someone will make the app. Tho i am not a developer so maybe someone can make it happend.
