Monterey installation?
Hello everyone, I was wondering if it was possible to install MacOS Monterey. I've seen that there is a Big Sur branch, but no Monterey one. Thanks

@WindowsShadows osx-kvm is extremely laggy and buggy, and my fork uses opencore and is less buggy, and my fork is still fn development. My fork also has more patches to support Monterey on most devices, while I couldn't even get Monterey to work with osx-kvm

The https://github.com/notAperson535/OneClick-macOS-Simple-KVM repo certainly worked, although I thinks that is basically the same project, just changing the downloader, as it seems.
Anyway, much better to use this than VMWare or Virtualbox.

ok, here is my explanation why it is bad: it is based off an old, unupdated thing and the fork only adds new downloaders, and nothing else
@mattiasandri You can use this (macOS-Simple-KVM) to install macOS, then you can update it to Monterey by opening the command line and executing the following command (Because Software Updates will get you to download Ventura):
sudo softwareupdate --fetch-full-installer --full-installer-version 12
Which will download the macOS 12 Monterey installer.
