Hi there, whenever i try to move around my mouse being captured in the virt-manager macOS window, the pointer doesn't want to work at all... Perhaps should i boot this in QEMU first for the main installation?

@SallyTheUnknownMan Switch the display type from QXL to Virtio in the virt-manager vm settings

I might try it, though it might be an issue from my hardware due to my CPU not supporting VT-d technology

I had this issue with Mojave VM and I had to switch to USB 2 from USB 3 under "Controller USB 0".

I had this issue with Mojave VM and I had to switch to USB 2 from USB 3 under "Controller USB 0".

for my particular use case, switching from qxl video mode to the default std allows me to interact with the vm (mojave), but am unable to "auto" grab the mouse on hover unfortunately.

In my case I was using win7 ultimate as the vm, I changed the tablet type from VirtIO to EvTouch USB Graphics Tablet, found the answer at stackoverflow

Video mode: QXL Display: Spice server Controller USB 0: USB 2
