I get "^M" on the command line when I press enter

Hello I am using a mac with terminal and zsh. When I press enter at the prompts for the scalatra installer the prompot prints out "^M" and not enter. There is no way of entering data to run the installer.

Does this still happen with the latest?

I had the same issue, and at least in my case, it turned out to be related to iTerm and not zsh. A recent update of iTerm seems to have fixed the issue for me.
