Dynamic resizing of the right/left toolbars

Open fossfreedom opened this issue 11 years ago • 1 comments

At the moment the right and left toolbars are fixed & split over 3 rows.

Particularly for the right-pane - if resized (for example when using lyrics) - there is too much blank screen estate that could be more productively used.

Wishlist item ... if the pane resizes, the toolbar should collapse from 3 rows to 2 rows ... and if large enough to one row.

How to do this? No idea - might make for an interesting small GTK project.

GtkFlowBox is the correct solution here - https://developer.gnome.org/gtk3/stable/GtkFlowBox.html

Only available for 3.12+ thus not applicable for Ubuntu 14.04
