I keep getting this message every time I try and open up the application. Is there another file I need to install that isn't in the latest zip or is there a way around it?

You might try grabbing the latest Microsoft Visual C runtime distributable and see if that helps.

Meanwhile I'm getting a missing api-ms.win-core-rtlsupport-l1-2-0.dll error... which from what I can tell happens when you try to compile a program and don't pay attention to dependencies.
