Mixed input in multiple right joycons.

Open rjeb opened this issue 7 years ago • 2 comments

Currently when using multiple controllers (4 joycons as 2 controllers) the right joycons buttons and sticks seem to be inputting for each other on occasion. For every 5 times I press the 'x' button on the first controller, the x button seems to be inputted on the second controller. The issue seems to be unique to the right joycons as the left joycon doesn't seem to have the same issue for me.

Currently using an Zexmte bluetooth adapter.

Does anyone else have this issue?

More info on the bug. It seems to only happen when i press the P2's right joycon buttons misinputing as P1's buttons. When 'Prefer Left Joycon for Gyro Controls' is toggled it seems that P1s left joycon buttons are being misinputed as P2's inputs instead.

I have almost exactly the same problem: inputs from the right Joy-Con of BOTH (slightly different to OP) pairs are sometimes picked on the other vJoy device. For me, however, ticking Prefer Left JoyCon does NOT switch the problem to the left, but instead the problem is reduced significantly, to the point that only the right stick (and not the buttons) spills into the other vJoy device, and so rarely it is barely noticeable. One other thing to note is that ticking Prefer Left causes some considerable lag in the left stick of vJoy Device 1 for several moments after starting the driver. All of the above happens whether or not Gyro Controls is ticked. On a different topic, I would like to note that I have found Steam's 'Define Layout' menu to be more reliable than XOutput.
