Adding another data point: using Xiaomi lisa device with ArrowOS 13.1 and not seeing empty notifications from Pachli.
Interesting, didn't take contact creation location into account. All contacts were created on macOS. Forgot to mention stocks contacts app does open the contacts in question without trouble.
Also receiving several notifications on the same day is not ideal. I'd prefer to receive only a single notification on a given day but have no way to control that...
