I narrowed this down to the move from gradio 3.4.1 to 3.5. Reverting 4ed99d599640bb86bc793aa3cbed31c6d0bd6957 and e8729dd0511f8410db967d9ef192645cfef1be8a fixes the issue.

Sorry for the delayed response. For the incorrect language identification issue, you should be able to fix that by setting the --language flag to the language spoken in the stream....
