The https://fortran-lang.org homepage has a "News" sidebar on the right-hand side of the page. The most recent of these items is from June of 2022. It might be better to eliminate this side bar if the most recent item is almost two years old.

Should we delete the entire section, or simply hide it until there’s a recent news update?
