我对NLP方向的研究很有兴趣，想做一些科研来发论文，我有一些编码的经验，可以独立完成web development，但是对这个领域不是很熟悉，所以可能需要教授您的指导。

我有几个问题，希望能得到您的解答：

1. 如果需要您的协助的话，是否支持远程？因为我目前在中国大陆，无法去美国读书。
2. 如果远程可行的话，协作的方式是什么样的呢？现在我需要做些什么？
3. 英语是否是必须的，如果是的话需要达到什么样的水平。

2. Send your resume and college (and graduate school if applicable) transcripts to me via Email. Then we arrange a coding interview if you pass the resume/transcript round. After you pass the coding interview, I will give you ideas to work on and I expect you to write code to implement that idea. Finally, we publish together.
3. I can communicate with you in either English or Chinese. But you need to be able to fluently read papers and documentations of libraries and tools that we will be using, e.g., HuggingFace, PyTorch, etc.
