Node-Red VS Code Extension Installs, won't open

Unable to open Node-Red VS Code Extension in VS Code.
Installs fine.
Extension Readme Says use "ctrl alt x" or "F1 + 'Node-RED: Open'" to open extension - there is no feedback (good or bad) upon using specified hotkeys.
Tried this on two separate Macbooks, two separate installs of VSCode.
Extension version: 0.2.0 VS Code version: Code 1.47.3 (91899dcef7b8110878ea59626991a18c8a6a1b3e, 2020-07-23T13:08:29.692Z) OS version: Darwin x64 19.6.0

Hi, Robert did your issue with the extension resolved, I am having the same issue in a Windows 10 Pro -64 bit environment and the extension installs fine without any errors, nothing seems to happen after I click on the shortcut "ctrl alt x" or "F1 + 'Node-RED: Open'", I have installed directly it in the machine and working on it would like to have it in VS CODE as I use it for other development activities.
The issue is that it is using a deprecated API (previewHTML).

Since there hasn't been any updates in over 2 years, it may be time to fork or to otherwise attempt another Node-RED extension.
