I happened to be looking around at source code and noticed that this newer extension (vscode-runner) directly copied the source from vscode-code-runner. From my observations, it seems like they failed to include the copyright notice from in this repository, which would be a violation of the license provided. The newer extension has been around for years, so maybe there's been an express agreement between both parties? My apologies if this is not a concern.
