Custom Label Commit Issue

Describe the bug When trying to commit a CustomLabel creation the following error is presented:

Retrieving metadata failed.
MetadataTransferError: Metadata API request failed: Component conversion failed: This directory does not contain a valid Salesforce DX project.

All other surrounding metadata is pulled and committed correctly.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Add CustomLabel as a change and try to commit
  2. Error is presented

Expected behavior CustomLabel should be added to commit and able to be promoted forward

We are having the same problem.

As a heads up, this is a dependent library issue that affects only CustomLabels. We are solving by updating the offending library with a current ticket underway to fix this. Please hang tight in the meantime.

Thanks @kylewalke. Do we need to update our DevOps Center install or is this fix on your server side? Can you share a date when we could expect this to be fixed?

Hi @matthewpomar-at-reddit We are working on the fix, and wont require an update as this is a server side one. We don`t have yet a timeframe for this.
