@MRigal after lots of research, you can change the storage to S3 with this library. https://django-storages.readthedocs.io/en/latest/backends/amazon-S3.html. And it works normally, then ImageField uploads the file to the cloud and downloads...

running in docker env reports some libraries are missing

It worked after installing dependencies manually.
