"wp is not defined" error when editing Foogallery Album

When editing any foogallery album, the page doesn't load completely, preventing me from adding any gallery to the album.

In the browser javascript console, there is following error: Uncaught ReferenceError: wp is not defined

This particular error comes from another plugin (namely Filebird Lite) - but it occurs only on the Foogallery Album edit page, leading me to the conclusion that Foogallery albums either nulls the wp object or somehow blocks its creation.

When I disable the Filebird Lite plugin, this error goes away, but the Foogallery Album edit page still doesn't load completely and I see the Wordpress error text "The site is experiencing technical difficulties" in place of the galleries on the Album edit page. However, with logging enabled and in debug mode, the site doesn't show or log anything.

Any ideas what might be going on?
