Uncaught TypeError: table.use is not a function

I have just upgraded jQuery ti the latest version, 3.4.0 and ever since, I am getting a .js error when trying to search using footable. I am using the latest version of footable.

Uncaught TypeError: table.use is not a function

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
