date-picker Stops Navigating

When the date selected within the data-picker is a day that is not guaranteed to be in every single month and the date-picker is navigated using the left and right arrows, clicking the arrow does nothing or skips a month.

Example: Open the date-picker and select 31 January. Navigating left to 31 December works as intended, but navigating right to February skips February and jumps forward to March. Open the date-picker and select 30 April. Navigating left through 30 March works as intended, but navigating further left to February does not work, instead remaining on 30 March.

Expected Result The date of the date-picker to not move to the navigated to month until a selection is made OR The date to navigate to the last day in the month if the day can not be found.

Actual Result The date in the date-picker changes as the navigation by the arrows occurs and either skips a month (going into the future) or stops navigating altogether (going into the past).
