[Bug/ problem] un smooth scrolling

On my moto g7 power the app scrools really uncomfortable using continues mode.

Confirmed, Pixel 4. There is extremely noticeable jittering when panning or zooming in scroll mode. Panning and zooming in book mode is buttery smooth. Librera PRO 8.2.29-fdroid (116).

Still a thing on 8.3.45 with Pixel3a. On scroll mode, holding the slide is sluggish, but the inertia after letting it go is smooth. Maybe something to do with the input method then?

Confirmed also for 8.3.69-fdroid on Samsung J series.

Unfortunately I cannot use Librera because of this, the scrolling is simply too jerky. Readera is very noticeably smoother.

Also happens on mg Sony XA2.

Any word on why this would be happening @foobnix?

Definitely the only thing preventing me from using the app

Unfortunately, I can't make scroll better, if someone can fix the code please do this.

Having the same issue which makes scrolling very jarring, it looks like the pointer position delta may be being calculated from initial pointer down rather than from the position where touch slop engages scrolling?
